Does anyone know of a good Thai restaurant, preferably on the eastern side of the metroplex? There aren't too many good restaurants in my neck of the woods so I'm used to driving but Frisco, Plano, etc. and those areas are just too far.
Re: good Thai restaurants?
I've never heard of this place, but I think I need to try it. What do you like to order there?
OP- I've had some very tasty Thai dishes at Asian Mint in Dallas.
my favorite is Thai Soon in Richardson (beltline and coit)
chow thai in Addison is also okay, (beltline and monfort)
I get the jungle beef (curry-like flavor with rice noodles). It is super spicy though so watch out! I've gotten a few other things and have liked everything. The shopping center it is in is pretty dicey, but there is a liquor store next door if you forget to BYOB.
