...for our dog...sorry, I knew that get your attention. ![]()
Sydney gave us a big scare by throwing up everything in her body...I could not believe how much she threw up! Then acting really listless and not really moving around at all. She laid down and when I picked her up a few minutes later to see if she could stand on her own, she literally pooped while standing still. We got really worried, called our regular vet who said we should have someone look at her.
So off to the emergency vet (open 24hrs) in cobble hill, DH held her in his arms the whole ride over, and then a few minutes after we signed in at the vet she started perking up, being interested in other dogs and wanting to walk around. So instead of spending time waiting and having to spend $$$ for a now-non-emergency, we decided to go home. We're keeping a close eye on her, but she is acting completely normal and back to her old self. Thank goodness!!! Phew!!! At least it only cost us the car service ride over as opposed to the big vet bill we'd probably have had.
On a side note: If I don't go into labor after all the miles I walked today.....I'm going to be really surprised. hahaha.
