Since it's slow, I'll take baby shower ideas
Throw 'em at me, any ideas you have
I'm meeting with my co-hosts early next week. Info: 36 yo first time mom having a boy in July. Shower looks to be in late May (it will be all her friends, family, and probably some invites by her MIL). Location will be at a co-host's home.
Food, games, themes? I'm going to Hobby Lobby tonight for something NR, but will probably look around while I'm there.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

This person did a bird/ "about to hatch" theme. The baby was a girl, but I think you could change up the colors and it would be equally adorable for a boy.
love this idea! and is perfect timing with easter coming up, i'm sure you could find all sorts of egg/bird-related decorations...

Your job is totally interfering with my ability to communicate efficiently during the day with you.

Agreed! Obviously I did not see your floorplan earlier. Sigh. What's funny is sometimes I get a broken image icon (or blank white space) and then the next day, the image will magically appear. It's muy weird.

Leigha -- I've got pictures up of the baby shower my mom and I just threw for my aunt on my FB. They're in the 2010 album.
Also, I suggest making a diaper cake. I posted pictures on my blog in my siggy, and I've got some more detailed directions on my craft blog: http://craftedbycolette.blogspot.com
This was a HUGE hit at the party.
I saw your diaper cake on the blog. Very nice. I've seen them before, but never made them. I'll check out your pics on FB tonight! I'm hoping maybe there is one of the invitation....wait, did you and your craftiness make them?

No, my mom in all of her craftiness made them
But they were suuuuuper simple. I don't have a picture, but I can describe it:
Cut a piece of blue & white striped or polka dot paper to 10x7; fold in half (made a 5x7 card). Type party info and cut/paste to the inside of the card. On the cover, she had a piece of ribbon stretched across the front like a clothesline (you'll see why in my FB pics of how the room was set up), and then found cutouts at Michaels of little baby clothes so it looked like they were hanging from the ribbon.
KB, this site is awesome! Better than any I've found! Thanks!
