*** Bella ***

Didn't you go to North Carolina last year? J and I are thinking of going in June and I wanted to find out where you went and what you thoughts were.

Well, that is if you went. Stick out tongue

DH(whoops...lol) and I went on our Honeymoon. I love N.C. I wish we lived there.

If your looking for sight seeing, ride the train in Waynesville or Bryson City. It's beautiful!!! Waynesville is a very beautiful town with cute little shops.

  • Butting in too

My Gramma lives in New Bern, NC (which is where The Notebook was set in). It's a historical town with Tryon Palace lots of historical tours and history and sits on the Trent and Nuese rivers. The beach is nearby too. It is an awesome place and The Outer Banks is where they have wild horses on the beach and it is just amazing.  (not sure if you watched J & K + 8 but that is where they had gone)

  • Yes we did, and we LOVED it. We stayed in Corolla in the OBX. It was for my BFFs wedding, and we all chipped in and rented a beach acess only house. There are tons to rent(and any size house) on the beach. You just need a 4x4(we rented one) to get to the houses. Here is the rental company we used..

Just type in how many bedrooms and if you want oceanfront, etc.

There was not really much to do other than swim and enjoy the beach(wich was fine with us). We drove into town 2 or 3 xs to go to dinner and shop. The company we had all week SUCKED, but the house and town were awesome.

  • Karrey, wild horses came up to our house each morning! It was the coolest thing. There even was a trough for us to put veggies and stuff in for them!
  • That place is incredible.  It really is. We are going to NC this summer sometime.  I can't wait.
