DH's job prospects
DH was able to get an interview recently and then was called back for a second round. They've now decided they want to hire him, but they have a hiring freeze! He's replacing someone who's retiring so hopefully they can convince HR to make an exception and allow them to hire him. Gosh, this is getting so frustrating! I really hope DH can get this job soon!

I feel you!! It's tough, I know. But I really hope he gets the job!!
I'm beyond frustrated with DH's job prospects - which are none. He's so depressed about it. He about to hit month 16 on unemployment and with each passing day he feels more and more like he's never going to find a job.
Wow, 16 months is rough. DH has been unemployed for 8 months. I hope your DH finds a new job soon as well. What kind of field is he in? Is he on LinkedIn?
The latest update from today is that they revised the exemption request and resubmitted it to HR so hopefully they'll hear something by the end of the week. HR just put the hiring freeze into effect last week, so this position was already in process.

My DH is on month 14 almost 15 of unemployment and the interviews have slowed way down...BUT he has a 3rd interview tomorrow!!! It's down to him and 1 other person!! Good vibes for tomorrow plz!!!
