He had a massive crush on me, and although I didn't feel the same way I finally agreed to go out with him. It wasn't a BAD date in the traditional sense but it was awkward as ass and dragged on forever. We just had zero chemistry and nothing in common except my roomie. On the upside, I think it showed him that we just wouldn't have worked.

In college, and friend of mine and I were chatting online and decided to meet up with this one guy in person (having seen no picture first!) kind of for a joke. Well, a joke it was! The minute he showed up I wanted it to be over. I try not to be too judgmental based on looks, but this guy didn't look ANYTHING like he described. Short, zitty, squinched-up eyes, and probably 5 years younger than he said. I made it about 1 hour and a half before I asked to go home.

Tell me about the worst date you've ever been on: I've only had one really creepy one. It was a second date with a guy I met online and we went out to dinner. At the table and during the meal he tried to hold my hand the whole time. I was getting really annoyed....I need 2 hands to eat!!! So I took to keeping a knife in one hand and a fork in the other, or kept a hand on my glass. When we got back to my house he wanted to come in and I told him no, but he proceeds to make his move. He picks me up (hello, I'm 5'10", NO ONE picks me up) and holds me against the wall and looks at me like I'm dessert. it was weird. My great-grandmother and grandmother were very much like that. It's funny too....whenever I know someone who is pregnant who I have time to spend with their belly (l have to touch it), I have never been wrong on the gender of their baby when I guess. Weird. I also have very strange gut feelings that are rarely wrong - like I knew I was going to lose my job a few weeks ago before it happened so even though I was upset about it, there was a sense of calm when I went in to talk to the director. 1. okay you will all think that I am crazy but I would probably decline the money-i have a terrible snake phobia-when I used to get migraines as a child I would have horrible hallucinations that my bedroom floor was covered with snakes and I was stranded unable to walk anywhere-I am allergic to spider bites-plus I just don't like them, and being an ex nyer I have a phobia of cockroaches too.

Only blind date ever...I had lusted after this guy my first year of college...didn't know him, only saw him in the dining hall. He was hot! Tall, dark and handsome. After several months my friend had a class with him and got to know him and told him I had a crush on him. We were set up to meet and go to the movies on night. Akward! We walked 15 minutes to the off-campus theater and the conversation was so dull. I can talk to ANYONE, but this guy was as dumb as rocks! Thank goodness we didn't have to talk during the movie. Afterwards we went for coffee and dessert and I hoped it would get better...at least we could talk about the movie, right? Nope. He was the king of one word answers. Boo. Pastries. All kinds...chocolate croissants, cheese danishes, cinnamon rolls, sticky buns, glazed donuts, beignets, you name it! YUM!

I love to bargain shop online and in stores. I also like to do creative projects and crafts with paper, fabric, photography, etc.

I've seen it work for other people, but I am SO thankful I never had to do it. I suppose it I "met" someone the way we have all "met"...via an online community of common interests, that would work for me. But I couldn't see myself looking at personal ads online or going to a site that is specifically for dating. I'd do more like MeetUp.com or find an online community of single people with like interests.

totally awkward, didn't have a lot to talk about, had my friend do the "emergency" call 30 min just in case and sadly, i took it as my way out of the date!

I actually agree with, although I said line the seat - but I've gotten a LOT less neurotic about it since I moved to Australia, since the only place they bother using toilet liners is at international airports (I presume for all of the travelers that come from countries - I think mostly the USA - that use them).

Had to think back here. Once, I bumped into a guy I used to do Taekwondo with (and had a crush on) when I was younger. He asked me out and we went to the zoo (it was a day-date). We had zero chemistry and couldn't find anything to talk about to each other (after we ran out of the 'good ol days' of Halls Taekwondo chit chat).
I walked from the elephant exclosure, to the apes to the reptiles, desperately trying to find anything to talk about but he was like Lori's monosyllabic man. Pain.Ful.

Oh, I believe we all have a sixth sense but some people's sixth sense is more developed and some people's sixth sense is all but comatose.
I've had a lot of occassions (mostly when I was younger and more in tune with myself) where this sixth sense has come into play and made me go "whoa" such as predicting things happening or dreaming something is going to happen and it does etc.
I visited a psychic in New Orleans too and he was amazingly accurate. I couldn't wait until I got home so that I could play the tape of the session with him and absorb it more but I lost the tape!
However, yes, there are too many people who claim to be psychics but are frauds.

Not really a shoe or a handbag girl to be honest. They just don't excite me that way other than I need something on my feet or someplace to stuff all my junk (well, my stroller serves that purpose now lol). Although...I DO LOVE a pair of black knee high boots, they're sexy.
I'm more of a perfume junkie.

Wow, wouldn't that be nice if it happened in real life! I don't need any more handbags as of now but I always love more shoes. And it's a toss-up between this one or this one (I love heels, but I never wore a shoe that was 6.25" before, so that would be interesting).
