Yeah, we left our room for a moment and just found Sophie had snuggled herself into our comforter! Now we've found her in there several times. It's so cute.
OMG --- kitten pictures kill me. Dead. I too have a Max, and he used to be that size. A year and half later, he is 14 lbs. of cuddles.

DH said no to the third kitten too, as we only had plans for Sophie. Then we got to the adoption event, saw her brother Max, and DH was like, "If you really want to, we can take him, too." And so we did.
Aww, Darkness does that too! He manages to get himself completly under the covers of a made bed without totally unmaking it. Whenever we see a lump in the covers we tap it to see if it meows.
Your kitties are so cute. Is Timmy liking the new comers more?
If I can come home from my shift at the shelter on Sunday without a kitten, it will be an extreme exercise in self-control.
If I fail, BB, I will completely blame you. I'll show DH these pics and say, "But seee? More than one kitteh is FUN!"
Aww, 14 lbs of cuddles sounds awesome! Ours came named Ethan Hunt (from Mission Impossible - DH doesn't like Ethan), then we renamed him Tucker, but forgot that Sophie Tucker is a real person. People kept thinking we were some sort of eccentric Vaudeville enthusiasts. It's Max now. It fits him, I think!

And Timmy looks a littl timid...How is he doing with the additions?
Thanks! He sort of is taking to them. Last night we gave them all some cat nip, and Timmy actually started romping around near them, which was totally unexpected. He has started batting them with his paw, but no claws out. They just sort of hunker down and take it, but are of course not hurt. I think he doesn't really know what they are yet--we have no idea when he last saw any other cats, as we found him outside at 8 weeks. He still growls at them, but has largely stopped hissing. I think he kind of wants to play, but doesn't know if he's brave enough yet.
