Gardeners - heirloom breed veggies?
Hi all - I'm dreaming of my garden this year and have a question for you all. I'm debating doing all heirloom variety stuff and am curious if anyone else has ever grown something like that before? Did you have good results? Bad results? Same as with "regular" breeds?
I'm digging the non-homogenous thing with the veggies but I've heard that sometimes the heirloom breed crops can crash because they're not as disease tolerant as the ones you get at the garden store. Hoping for some real world gardeners to tell me their experiences so I can be a more informed gardener.

MY BLOG!
My Blog!
You may not get veggies but I bet that you've got access to some amazing citrus that I'll never have!
Oranges, Lemons, Limes, etc don't do so well with our cold and limited winter sun.
Up til now - I've just done container gardening but this year, I'm going all out. Kinda excited!
