Adorable cuteness inside (Swap Gift PIP)
Thank you SO much Jaime (Hawaiian Honey). First of all, I cannot believe Elfster matched us up again (a repeat of Christmas 2008)!
How did I luck out twice?! The basket that was delivered today is just awesome...filled with adorable cuteness that just sings "Spring has sprung!" I love it all! Thank you for the personalized bib, onsie and burpie along with the headbands and matchy-matchy socks. Love, love, love it all and plan to use it for Libby's 3 month photoshoot (thanks for getting the onsie a size 6-9)!
Here's a funny story...I heard a knock at the door today and was expecting our UPS guy (since I was expecting a delivery from Amazon.com). I peeked in the window of our door and saw a guy not in a UPS uniform. The dogs were going nuts and I am sure I looked like a lunatic with my eyes flashing through the little window in the door. The guy was wearing a uniform but I couldn't make it out and it didn't look familiar (like USPS, UPS, or FedEx). Hmmm?! He sort of looked familiar though.
But, I don't know any guys in Tulsa other than my DH. I asked something like, "Yes? Can I help you?" (we get a lot of knocks at the door meant for our neighbor, Bill, who's a bail bondsman) and he held up the wrapped gift and said he had a delivery for Libby. OMG. It was Matt. Jaime's Matt. Matty and Tia and Hani's Daddy. THAT's why he was familiar looking. Although we had never met, I had seen pics on TK and FB.
I opened the door, in my ROBE no less (red microfleece with Winnie the Pooh embroidered on it...how embarassing!), hair all a mess and sportin' glasses. Too funny. I was TORE up! Jaime, I am sure Matt will tell you. But it was nice to finally meet him. I explained that J was tied up trying to give Libby a bottle (which she refused, again) and Matt was sweet saying it's tough with the first one but that he'll learn. Wise man. I think he and J need to go bowling. Seriously. I am sure Matt could teach him a lot about being a new dad.
Anyway, I just think the basket is the sweetest thing I've gotten in a long time. I cannot wait to dress Libby up in all of the cuteness (the owl on the bib made me squeal)! And, now that I have met Matt, we need a do-over because I seriously doubt that he'll want you GTG with me ever again since I looked like a crazy lady! LOL! Big hugs Jaime! I know you're off to Hawaii soon (AGAIN) but I'd love to GTG with you...maybe next week sometime? I am at work on Tu/Th but free otherwise and would love to meet up. Let me know, kay?
