Tonight we're going to my niece's 5th birthday party. DH comes out of the bathroom wearing this shirt: http://www.rockabilia.com/product.php?productid=69213&partner=googlebase
Now, am I really such a terrible person to ask him to not wear a shirt that has what looks like a bleeding hoo-ha on it? To a kids party?? I don't think so, but he always get SO mad at me when I ask him to wear something different than what he picked out! Geez, I'm not asking him to cut off his left foot or anything!
Re: Vent
My brother showed up to Mother's Day one year wearing a shirt just like this:

It's called the "bootleg", get it? Ha ha ha. I couldn't believe he showed up in that.
Stop it! I don't even find those shirts to be acceptable to wear around the house.
Update: He ended up changing into a nice polo, but not after pouting on the bed shirtless for a few minutes.
Honestly, it's not that I hate the shirt or anything - in fact, we had a great time at the show where he bought it - we just have a hard time agreeing on the whole "there's an appropriate time and a place for..." issue.
And Sarah - LOVE your brother's shirt, lol.
Men can be such babies when they dont get their way!
This really made me laugh!
My DH does have his own collection of tshirts, but they're all normal and generally band or brewery related. My only complaint is that he wears tshirts all.the.time and sometimes I wish he would put on a polo or button or something, anything else. He just doesn't care about that kind of stuff, so he hasn't really bought any new clothes in years. He finally did buy some polo's and nice short sleeve button ups because the place he works at now is nice-casual. He can just wear slacks & a polo and he's fine there. The advantages of working at a construction company! lol.
This. Lol.
Lol!
