You might want to check this out! Scary!

I C&P this from D&R but apparently it was on F&B, too, so you may have already seen it.

It didn't have any information for me under my married name, but under my maiden name was another story! It had my home address (where my parents still live), their telephone number, PO box, a satellite photo of the house, and all kinds of other stuff! You can delete the information here.

Some of the girls said there information wasn't accurate, but mine is!

  • Yeah, I saw this last night via F&B. It was a little bit weird (especially how it linked up members of a household together), but really all of that information you could find out separately if you wanted via a quick Google.

I thought this was funny under my H's listing

    "enjoys toys"

When did they pull that info from? 1984?

  • This was just posted on WC too and I just checked out mine and DH's.  They didnt have anything on my married name either but my maiden name had phone number, address, pictures as well so I removed it.  They had DH twice, once at his parents house and once at ours so I deleted both of those entries too.  It is scary that this info is everywhere... there are a bunch of other places that aggregate this stuff too so deleting it here is only one stop.  People will still find it if they want it.

Yeh, I guess that is true about the Google search. But, mine also said I enjoy toys. And mine said  I was a Tradesman/Machinist, lol.

  • I think pipl.com is even more spooky. I just pulled up a message board post I wrote in 1996. :-/

I've never heard of that one but I just tried to find myself all sorts of ways and the only thing it hits on is my blog.

  • glad to see they think our est home value is $1mil+
  • On pipl.com they have newspaper articles from my high school days of basketball and track.
  • My info under my maiden name was barely accurate. Gave my parents address and names. Honestly though, you can get that kind of information anywhere online because it's pretty basic phone book type stuff. Our county makes more info than that public on their real estate tax website. If someone wants to show up at my parents house and be a creep, by all means, go for it. Just be forewarned that my dad might shoot you.

  • Whoa, thanks for posting about this. All of my parents' info was on it (I couldn't find anything for myself or my husband) so I asked that it be removed. That was super creepy, especially the satellite photo of our block.

  • It was actually kind of interesting to see the info they gave about our neighborhood.  I mean, I probably could have guessed the median age and income, but it's interesting to see what people outside the hood would think.

The only thing they had on me (maiden name) was my address... at which they said I'd been living for 3 years.... searching DH, they have him living here six years (they also have his age as "late 30s"... I don't think I'll tell him that).  We moved in to this place at the same time, DH is in his early30s (ok maybe mid30s...)  They had his zodiac wrong.

there are at least 6 other people in my city with my firstname maidenname combo, so I'm not sure anyone would pick the right one anyway.  Under my married name I'll have to be more careful... right now I don't exist, so if I put something out there, I'll definitely be the only one.

The only thing pipl pulled up was my amazon profile... but again, you had to sort through pages and pages to find it.
