my first poll! i'm bored at work. i know this is gonna bite me in the butt next week when i'm short on billables, but whatevs. i'm already short for this month... why fight it?
anyway i was looking at my face in the work restroom today and i thought, wow. what happened to me? in college i was the type to dress up in skirts and cute tops and fix my hair and makeup just to go to class. i don't know if it's the fact that i passed 30 a few years ago or now that i'm married, or that i'm just freaking tired and don't give a d@mn anymore. i also thought of someone i knew in high school who applied fresh makeup before she slept, just in case of an emergency.
so i decided to make a poll and see where everyone was on this topic. 
i hope i did this right...

i went first. hahaha
so i voted a few times a month if i'm lucky. i don't wear make-up regularly to work, sometimes just lip gloss. i don't even wear my contacts.
but if i have to go to court or depos or have other appearances, then i'll put a full face on.
also,i don't go out to places as much anymore. so i get lazy. when dh/mh (i dunno what the difference is on this board) and i go out to a special dinner/occasion (which these days is rare), then i'll get dressed up with full make-up.
laziness is pretty much why i don't do it as much. i would rather have a few extra minutes of sleep. hahaha

I voted for "make up everyday" but I really don't wear that much. Only mascara and eyeliner, no foundation or lip color. I wear my make up the same way as I have since I started wearing make up in 8th grade! Pathethic, I know!
On special nights out, I will add an eyeshadow and maybe a little tinted moisturizer. Boring, but it saves me a lot of money on expensive make up!
I'm in the "only on my wedding day and that was bad enough" camp. I feel like it just makes my face break out more. And I've had more than one person doing a facial (which I get every other year or so) that I have great skin. Part of me wants to attribute that to the no makeup philosophy.
Now, if I'm going to someone else's wedding, or a special outing or something, I might put it on. But otherwise - nada.
I voted for only a few times a month...like when I'm going out to a party or out to dinner or something like that. For work everyday, I just throw on some lipgloss. Makeup is just an extra thing to do in the morning so I tend to skip!
I wear full make-up everyday for work and going out...on weekends I will skip it if I am staying home, but if I am running errands I'll wear at least some powder, mascara and lip gloss. By the way, in my siggy pic I am wearing my everyday full make-up...I keep it natural looking,but it's there.
Mac Full Coverage foundation, Jane powder blush, L'oreal eye shadow, Covergirl mascara, Almay liquid eyeliner (top lids only), and L'oreal lip gloss.

I used to wear it every single day. I never took hours to do it, but I would do the full face (foundation, mascara, eyeshadow, blush, etc.) every day. I don't know if it was moving to Australia (women seem to wear less makeup here) or just getting older that changed things, but these days I wear very little makeup.
Well actually right now I wear none because I'm staying at home lol, but even going to work it's just mascara (I have very long eyelashes but they get very pale about halfway along so without mascara you can't really see them), concealer if I need it and just some powder to take the shine off.

i don't wear makeup every day - when I started the new job i really tried to turn over a new leaf and put on a "face" every day but that didn't last long! i will wear colored chapstick (how lame is that) at work and every once in a while i will get it together to put on some real lip gloss or lipstick for work and blush.
i do like to put on makeup for a date night or just going out with friends - nothing too fancy. my number one is tinted rosewater by bliss which i use as blush and i feel like it really perks up my face when i don't have time or energy to do anything else.
