I'm very much a homebody, DH is getting a little stir crazy after the winter. So I want to come up with some masterful idea to go out somewhere tonight. What do you and your DH do on a night out?
(I'm able to rule out movie, hockey game, pool, local music already)
Re: HELP: Fun date night?
What about an Art Gallery or Museum? Sometimes they will have evenings that have performance art and drinks/food etc. I would check out if there were any festivals going on in your area as well.
We're usually a dinner and then drinks at a bar kind of couple. But we do mix it up with interesting things every now and again. Currently, we are trying to get tickets to the roller derby.
a comedy club?
ooh that sounds like it could be lots of fun! where is the roller derby?
Happy Easter

Ha - our uncle in Niagara Falls NY sent me info on the roller derby - figured since I played women's hockey I might be interested in checking it out. Neither Jer or I were too interested.
To follow-up we didn't end up doing anything super exciting, but I think the day went well enough and got DH out of the house. In the afternoon, he ran down to the waterfron trail. Riley (our cocker spaniel) and I drove down to meet him and went for a 3K roller bade. Then as a cool down for everyone we did a 3K walk. Was impressed with how Riley and I held up (me recovering from an injury and the fact that he's 9 years now).
Then after we were all home and showered we tried out a new restaurant in the area. Which went way beyond my expectations. We got seated in the bar area so we could still watch the basketball. They also had a tapas menu there, so we were very excited to give this a shot. Food was amazing. Afterwards we rented a movie and watched the boxing.
