My free Bahama/Florida Keys vacation-Long
Background: One of my best friends, Amy-she was a bridesmaid, spent 2 years working for a man named Jim. Jim is a billionaire, I have no idea what he does for a living or did, he's in his 60s and pretty much travels all the time. Anyway Amy worked on his luxury sail boat, the YNot, she was part of a threeman crew. They took care of the boat and took it out on charters (people would rent out the boat for weeks at a time)-Jim only used the boat personally about 4 times a year. Well about a year ago Jim decided to dock the boat and not use it for charters anymore, so it currently just sits in a dock in Florida.
Amy moved back to CO but occasionally when Jim wants to use the boat he calls members of his crew and pays for them to come down and run the boat while hes on it. Amy and I both have spring break next week (she's a gymnastics coach in the same district where I work) and Jim is flying her down so he can take the boat to the keys/bahamas. Amy knew it was my spring break too so she asked if I wanted to come with her. Jim is paying for me too! We are flying out on Sunday night and coming back on Friday. I always wanted to visit her when she lived on the boat but we could never coordinate it because the boat was chartered almost every week.
I can't be more excited. Jay and Amy's boyfriend are both very sad that they can't go but Jay is super supportive and told me I had to go because I may never get an opportunity to do anything like this again. And it gives Jay an excuse to play on his PS3 non stop while I'm away.
This is where I will be living all week:
I have never been to the Bahama's and it sounds like we will be docking somewhere different every night and I don't have to pay for anything.
I may have to marry Amy or name my firstborn after her.

I told her last night that she is the godmother of my unborn children. She's happy I can go because everyone else that will be on the trip is quite a bit older than us.
Start packing, get some books in there, and don't forget your sunscreen!
WOW that is awesome! Have a FABULOUS time, take lots of pictures, relax and make sure to report back all the craziness! You deserve to take a wonderful vacation!
