So I was in our house today.

I am pretty sure that I have never seen anyone as excited about a house as you guys are! I think it's wonderful adn so sweet! I hope that you guys are really happy and blessed in your beautiful home!
thanks guys! It really is going up fast. I never imagined it would be this fast - the builder kept saying May and I was like no way it'll be done by then but yeah I think it might. We should have a roof next week.
Gerrie, we are pretty excited! I'm pretty sure it's more exciting since we're watching it be built from ground up. I don't think we'd be quite this excited if it we were buying an already finished house. Thank you for your sweet words
And completely out of curiosity, are you guys allowed to be all in the house like that? Or was there someone there letting you go in? I only ask cause I'd be worried anyone could walk up and play around in my house haha.
Um...technically no we're not supposed to be in there unsupervised and without hard hats (which we have we just don't actually wear - but Steve said next time we're bringing them so he can get pictures of us in them lol)
So yeah basically anyone could just waltz in and play around but there isn't anything really in the houses yet and anything that gets broken or damaged that's on the builders to fix or replace. Once we get a little further along they'll be locks on the doors and whatnot, but for now nope it's just an open house.
The hardhats ones will be cute though! haha. you guys are little rebels. But those pics will make for a fun scrap book someday! And I think you should reinact all these pics when the house is completely done. Even the one with your friend in the pantry lol.
Yeah we're a bunch of rebels! But we're in the back of the neighborhood and kind of in the middle of no where haha.
I will definitely be making a scrapbook after we move - its part of the reason I'm taking so many pictures but that's my thing, I scrapbook everything! I'm also going to be making a collage picture with a picture of us from each stage of the house to hang somewhere in the house...
Wow, it's going up fast!
How exciting to see it built from the ground up! When is it scheduled to be finished?
Its scheduled to be finished in May. No date yet, but when we get closer we should have a date. I'm hoping for mid-May so that we can be moved before June comes and baseball season really starts and the weekend tournaments kick in
