S. Austin Indian food rave - Tarka
DH and I tried Tarka on Brodie Lane last night and we thought it was great and will definitely go back. It's somehow related to the Clay Pit (same owners, maybe?) and the food is really good and billed as fresh and fast Indian. The concept is a lot like Pei-Wei in that they have a smaller menu and you order at a counter. We got samosas and two curries (chicken tikka masala and dinghri muttar paneer) and it was around $20. The veggies in DH's muttar paneer were fresh and the chicken in the tikka masala was all white meat. I have leftovers, too.
They also have features where you can order and pay ahead online and they do to-go orders.
