Berks County Nesties with Pets
Who is your vet? I am currently taking my 4 cats to Exeter Veterinary. I like most of the staff, I just think they are a little pricey. I am paying approximately $75 per cat for a basic check up. And this might not be that bad. I just think it seems high.

Antietam Valley Animal Hospital. I really like them, but I don't think there's much cost difference between them and Exeter. Does that $75 include anything else or was that just for the office visit? We had two of our cats to Antietam last month. The bill was $160 but that was for the two office visits, 2 rabies shots, and 1 fecal test. I don't remember how much just the office visit portion was.
I've thought about switching to the Humane Society now that they have full vet services. I don't know what their costs are like, but at least it's all going to a good cause. I'm up in the air about it since I do really like the staff and doctors at Anteitam.
No, the $75 covered other stuff. I am pretty sure. I am bad mom and they are all over due for a trip to the vet. So, since it has been awhile I figured this would be a good time to look into other vets. It doesn't help that the two doctors that I loved at Exeter aren't there anymore. Once moved back to VA and the other is in Sinking Spring, which is a little out of the way for me.
