My sister just called and apparently there are two spots on my PETscan. Son of a BI*TCH!!! 
She said that it could be (and she expects it to be) a false uptake. It's just not what I want to deal with. I really prayed that everything would be clear. I feel sick and numb right now. Why me?
One is a lymph node in my neck and the other is at the base of my tongue. The lymph node could be reacting to something else (a cold, infection, etc) but the tongue one worries me a little more. At the very least I'll have to have another scan.
Fcuk Cancer. I fcuking hate you with everything that I am.
I leave for a business trip Wednesday morning and then up to Maine for Easter. I have to get some kind of answer by then so I have to hurry and get everything done today so I can be off tomorrow. I had one doctor booked at 8:00 am anyway and my sister was able to get me into the other one after that so a day of doctors.. wooo hoo.I hate stress. Why me? I am so beside myself I can't even think straight. I am sure I am not making sense.

My worst nightmare was for there to be a spot in my lungs and knowing that they are clear is a huge victory so I am trying to focus on that.

SERIOUSLY? what the hell?? i'm so sorry gerrie, i'm pissed off for you right now too...enough is enough. i'm so glad you were able to schedule your doctors so quickly, thank god for your sister's help. i hope this is all just false positives and you have to go back to the doctors...maybe to see the girl you met the other day or some other reason. i'm praying you have an all clear second scan and and can celebrate with your family on easter.
