Re: Val, you around?
Yeah Belle and I are having dinner Friday night in Plymouth, I have an email out to her!
Where did ya'll eat when you went? I'm thinking Saturday's lunch will be at the Bull & Finch, but no idea for dinner. We're staying near boston Common, price is no object.
We mostly ate bar food so I am really no help. However, We did Bull and Finch (very good hamburger) and we also ate at the Cheers replica. I also met up with a knottie from my month board. She said the Union Oyster House is really good. That's not too far from the Commons. (10-15 minute walk right Belle?)
What hotel are you staying at?
The Westin Copley Square, I wanted to stay close to the park (as close as possible) since we are taking all three pups. Yes you read that correctly, all three!!!
I thought the Bull and Finch was the cheers bar, or is it the inspiration for cheers?
Bull and Finch was the inspiration for Cheers. The outside is identical, Inside is totally different. The replica is in Quincy Market. I think Legal Seafood was close to where you're staying. We got on the bus tour so many times I don't exactly remember. We stayed at the Omni Parker House, which is closer to Faneuil Hall.
How long are you staying?
Legal Seafood is a chain, although the one in Boston is the original. We've eaten there. I don't think we'll hang out in Fanueil Hall. We may go in there to try and find a Boston onsie for Cletus. I looked at the Omni but they don't accept pets. They are definitely the most accesible to the historic district by foot. Did you eat there? That's where Parker House rolls were invented.
We're arriving on Friday and leaving Sunday early afternoon/late morning and heading to NYC for a few hours before coming home.
