I am about to start day 4 of the shred

Yesterday was easier.  Way easier.  No idea why.  Also my muscles stopped hurting (for the most part) about an hour after doing it.  So why is it that today I don't want to do it AT ALL?  Who knows.  I am blaming it on the rain, DD is in a very grumpy mood and the fact that for the fifth night in a row I have had bizarre dreams.  (Last night DH and I were driving to some place far away and it was taking us days to get there. We stopped at a truck stop and I had to pee well suddenly I was in World Of Warcraft and I was my character and I had to fight my way to the washroom.  When I got back DH had ordered me a hotdog and got all ticked at me because now he had to buy food for the creature I had summoned. It was awesome).

Okay off to find some cherrios for the daughter and then I hurt myself for 20 minutes. I can do this.

EDIT:  I have done it.  DD laughed at me for most of the cardio bits and cried at me when I was doing strength.  I will admit that it was much easier today than it was on day one.  My muscles aren't killing me but my ankles are.  I imagine as I lose weight my ankles will hurt less.  And I am happy to say that I am more than a tenth of the way through it.  Thanks for all of the support!

  • Go Sammy! You are motivating me as well. I bought the DVD about a month ago, and have yet to do it. I have been walking everyday though, but the workout is just not the same.

     I went to pick it up last night as I wanted to start today but the two stores I visited didn't have it so I am checking out HMV tonight and hoping its there.

  • that's awesome, keep it up! I have not done the shred, but I find the hardest part about working out is getting started! it feels great after!
