Sick with a newborn = no fun at all
I am working on my third ailment in a week and this sinus infection is the worst. It is seriously kicking my assets. I can't hear, I can't breathe and I am constantly coughing. Thank goodness MrShoe got up with Norah last night because I thought for sure I was dying. And poor Norah's easter basket still isn't made yet. =( I really wanted to get it done today but that requires a run to Target and I just do not see that happening.

oh gosh, no fun! You're getting a quick initiation into the less fun aspects of mommyhood huh? Ditto Joeysgirl, you should see if there's anything you can take. It would really suck to be feeling bad on her first holiday
If I lived closer, I'd go help ya out! But we won't be coming down till Saturday.
I'm sorry about that. I have to agree with joeysgirl, if it's a true sinus infection and not just allergies, a cortisone shot in the rump is worth a million bucks. You know I'm not a big medicine taker either, so for me to say that is HUGE!!
I hope you feel better VERY soon.
Aww, that just sucks Shoe! I had the sinus infection crap two weeks ago and it was awful. If you don't feel like going to the Dr. to get the shot you should see if they will call you in a Z-pack or something. That's what they did for me and it knocked it out pretty quick.
Seriously, let me know if you need anything! I can't see you leaving the house sick with a newborn and I can always make a Target run for you. It's not like I don't go to the one on Siegen every other day...
Thank you baby Jesus in a manger, my grandma just called and is on the way to help me out.
I'm so leary about taking anything right now even though I know I should. My mom could call me in a z-pack if I needed but I'm not sure if it's safe since I'm breastfeeding. If I feel better later today, I may try to go to Target tonight once MrShoe gets home. I just hate that I'm wasting this time with my baby girl being sick. =(
I'm thinking it's probably okay to take the z-pack because my obgyn prescribed one to me when I was like seven months pregnant.
I'll gladly come take care of Norah girl for you
Or clean or cook or whatever... Hope you feel better soon.
This is legal advice. Circa 2011
You may have to come over to prevent her killing her gma for a comment she made on a photo of that precious girl..
Sorry your sick hun, I know how you feel and it sucks! I also forgot to tell you that Vicks shower soothers were a GODSEND when I was sick too.. I never tried the vapor rub when I was sick that week after but Im sure that would help as well.. Hope you start feeling better soon!!!
Ditto! Those Vicks Shower Soothers are amazing. The vaporub works really well too.
