First off... we closed! Took 30 minutes flat. We had 2k left over from the sellers assist that was placed in an escro account to fix the sidewalks. The lien was lifted by the bank that owned it, whew!
We went right to Lowes after settelement and got new locks. DH and BIL put them in. DH is moving in on Thursday when the gas gets turned on, and I am waiting about 2 or 3 months to move in until the renovations are almost complete. Yay for my awesome Mom who has let us live in her house for the last year, and is letting me stay for a bit longer.FINALLY!
Onto health....
I finally got a hold of my GYN today. Bloodwork normal and PAP normal. Yay for no cervical cancer( I was freaking out after having some cervical cancer issues a few years back), and a little relieved not to be pregnant at this time. She called in a rx for some drug that I take for 10 days to get a period. She said everyone has to menstrate at least 1 time every three months, and now I am going on 4 with no visit from aunt flo. I still find it bizzare that it has not showed up, but she said STRESS is more than likely the culprit. And as for the tummy swelling, well I am just fat, lol. I need to drop 10-15 lbs. I have never weighed this much, and am also probably retaining alot of water.
SO, all in all things are all good!
Re: Updates galore.. house and health
YAY for the house! So glad that things finally worked out and how awesome of your Mom to be so supportive too. That's awesome. I know you can't wait to be able to make it your own.
As for your health, I am glad it was nothing serious. Just want to give you heads up that the drug she is going to give you is gonna give you one hell of a period. Be warned.
Looks like things are lookin' up pretty lady! So happy for you.
This. I am starting something now to induce a period, and have been on something similar. Let's just say that I seriously considered a full hysterectomy I hurt so much. Not fun. My doc today said taking motrin or tylenol can help to slow the flow (so instead of changing every hour, its every couple). Not sure how well this works tho.
Yay for house closing! And for everything being okay at dr's.
Yay for finally closing!
I'm also glad that there is nothing too serious going on with your body, just that you need to lose a little weight. I'm sure with the closing on the house the stress will begin to disappear.
Okay, kind of scared now!!!
Huzzah! I'm so glad the house drama is over! I hope things are a little less stressful now.
And I'm glad there doesn't seem to be anything seriously wrong healthwise. Being a lady is scary sometimes.
WooHoo! Glad to hear all the good news about the house! Glad the drama has ended! And, I'm very happy to hear that things are ok healthwise!
Super excited you got the house and it's yours now!!! WHOO HOO!!!!
as for the health... I'm sure the stress of the house wasn't helping... here's to getting it all figured out and you get back to how you were!
Yay for closing on the house!
Glad to hear that things are okay healthwise.
