As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. What does the Block option do?
I tried to respond to a post from a few days ago but it doesn't look as if anyone has read it. The Block feature is back. But what does it do exactly? Will it keep a selected poster's posts from appearing on my screen? I can't imagine how that would work but that's all I can think of. TIA

I think you can see the titles of posts they write, just not what they write. You can still see others' responses. I'm pretty sure you can't see them at all if they respond to a post. I'm not sure, I don't have anyone blocked.

I read it but maybe you already blocked me and couldn't see my response.
LOL! Just kidding.
On the other boards people quote posts so much that I don't think it's very effective. You may not be able to see a 'blocked' person's initial post or response, but if someone quotes it in their response, you still see it.
Oh I retract my original statement about not knowing how to unblock...the nest gods must have fixed it. It's "unblock nestie" and "unblock bumpie" on the blue left side bar under "my boards".
Good to know in case someone gets a little rowdy
