What would you do with a free photo session?
This weekend we won a certificate at a fundraiser for a free couple's shoot by my wonderful photographer friend who did our engagement and "trash the dress" shoots.
It's a little silly to get another set of shots done so soon but they're free so why not? Just wondering... if a free photoshoot landed in your hands, what would be your ideal spot? Or if you've come across some cool shots recently, share them!
Re: What would you do with a free photo session?
We didn't do an engagement session so if it were us I'd want something like that.
For location I think I'd like to use the downtown mall. It's got a great 'old' feel with lots of brick and texture and tons of stuff going on. My bridesman did his senior pics there a few years ago and they were awesome.
If you have any old buildings like that they add a lot to the pictures.
This is going to sound weird, so hear me out.
I would like pictures of me and DH in bed. LoL, nothing kinky. I've always loved (fake) sleeping, cuddling pictures. They're so natural - I think they're beautiful. Case and point:
MY BLOG!
LoL, I think the cracking up pictures would be the best!

Woo! Love this one too! You guys are great! DH almost never gets his hair wet because it takes SO LONG to dry, but goodness that would be fun. I can't wait to share ideas with Christina! She's going to love hearing everyone's ideas!
MY BLOG!
Hands down, I would do TTD, but I see that you already did those!
My 2nd choice would be to do pictures in downtown St. Louis. DH and I live in St. Louis, but our wedding was in northern IL, where DH is from. Some of my co-workers have had weddings here and I see their pics at the arch or at Busch Stadium and I'm jealous. I wish we could have wedding pics done here too!
Do you have some landmarks where you live that you couldn't get to on the wedding day? Dress up and take 'em again!
You're making me want chinese food. lol
What?!?!? lol...random...
I like these ideas too... not sure if DH will go for it... he's such a jeans and t-shirt guy. Although he did love his wedding get up once we picked it out. We'll see -- hopefully he'll be willing to go out on a limb a little bit because that will be so much more fun!
MY BLOG!
Wasn't there someone earlier who was talking about taking pictures jumping on the bed or in bed eating Chinese Food? That sounds familiar.
MY BLOG!
I just had de ja vu with the chinese food bed picture in my head and thought it may have come up in an earlier thread. Oh well... maybe I just want to jump on the bed and eat chinese food and have my picture taken.
MY BLOG!
I was thinking Chow Mein might be fun. ~hahah~
MY BLOG!
Now I want chinese food LOL
Sorry it took so long to respond. lol. I forgot I posted here.
I was talking about the fortune cookie thing. You add "in bed" to the end of your fortune. Sometimes it works way too well. I thought people everywhere did that.
