Re: Pregnant girls
Me too!
Hey thanks for checking in! We finished painting this weekend and I DH is bringing up the crib and dresser now. I hope we get some of it put together before he leaves for work. Everything is going great and time is flying by!!
So exciting!
Things are going well :-) No major updates to the nursery at all since our trip to Ikea a few weeks ago. We can't really do too much more in there until my dad makes the crib. I am starting to really regret agreeing to let him make it. I have no idea when it will be done and I think he thinks he has until July 20th. I want it done asap, because everything else in the room is hinging on it. Ugh. I am grateful, don't get me wrong, it's just that he takes forever to do things.
Anyway, I've been feeling good. Some round ligament pain here and there, and my ginormous boobs are starting to make the spot under them go tingly. Awesome :-P
Facebook
what is round ligament pain?
Link.
Basically sharp pains when I change positions too fast. One night I must have flipped over in my sleep and it was so bad it woke me up, I was up from 1 on. That sucked. But otherwise it has just been here and there - often times when I hike my leg up to try to put my socks on I get a nice stab.
I'm feeling pretty good! I'm really looking pregnant now which is awesome. I popped early too Jcam :-) And as for decorating, we haven't done a thing yet. We're focusing on moving right now and I don't want to have to move big items like a crib and what-not so we're waiting until we're in our new place to get anything that we need.
We find out in 2 weeks what we're having, so I'm sure I'll go shopping then. I won't be able to resist! Oh and p.s. Jcam- I feel ya on the ligament pain, though yours sounds worse than mine. I usually feel it in the morning when I hop out of bed.
Lvn - mostly mine isn't too bad, it was just that one time that it kept me up that was horrible. Otherwise it's just another reason that I can't wait for flip flop season, LOL!
Oh and woot for popping early! Let's see a belly pic!!
feeling awesome still... everything is going so good, it's been a fabulous pregnancy. except, bb is breech, I'm working on exercises to flip him/her. going to try acupuncture and chiropractor within the next 2 weeks, if no luck, OB is going to do a version (to manually flip the bb).
recent purchase includes a rocker/recliner, getting delivered tomorrow. My mom is making our curtains and crib skirt, but other than that we have everything we could need.
I'm doing well. I just had my test for gestational diabetes and based on the "no news is good news" theory I'm assuming that I have nothing to worry about because it's been more than 24 hours and I've heard nothing. Baby girl is starting to tumble a little harder. When she moves it's more than just a little kick. I feel a total shift. Also, in the past week or 2 I started to actually see her move, my whole stomach moves. DH saw it yesterday for the 1st time and said it looks like an alien is in there.
I love yoga. I started going about a month and a half ago now. It's great. Prior to yoga I was dealing with lots of back pain but I think all the stretching is helping because I haven't had much at all since then. I am definitely showing now. I was able to hide it for a long time but there is NO doubt now. It's getting harder and harder to put on socks and I definitely prefer slip ons instead of sneakers. Yay for flip flop season soon!
Prepping for baby ... the nursery is still a work in progress and will be for quite some time. Our crib is purchased but we won't get it until our shower. I have no idea when that will be but apparently the invitations are out already. DH decided long ago that he wanted to build the rest of her furniture. Of course he then had to build a new office first because he was losing his but then he decided that he had to build all of his office furniture before he could empty the nursery. So far he's built a desk ... I think he's basing his timeline on the fact that she'll be sleeping in our room at first but I fear that he's forgetting about all the other stuff we are going to need to store in her room once the shower happens. We have done some painting though but that's about it. Oh well .... I'm cleaning and organizing the rest of the house in an attempt to keep myself busy and not go crazy.
