Tuesday...lucky, lucky Tuesday
I'm working on having a more positive attitude about things, so I thought I'd start here. To that end let's share what will make today a good day.

Today will be good for me because:
1. the weather: it's supposed to be sunny and in the 60s and that always puts me in a good mood.
2. jeans day at work: because the kids are out on spring break this week we get to wear jeans to work. this also means we can wear flip flops and I love me some flip flops!
3. dinner tonight: it's spaghetti night at my house. I love spaghetti.
4. chores getting done: before I go to bed tonight I'll have dusted the living room and changed/washed our sheets.
YAY for a productive day!
I second the weather. It'll be almost 70 here. I can't wait to take Pugsly on our afternoon walk and soak up the sun!
Otherwise, today's not that exciting. The excitement comes later in the week:
1) 1/2 day on Friday
2) Attempt #2 at baking bread on Saturday
3) Easter and getting to see my family on Sunday
4) More warm weather!
I'll have a great day today because...
1. We're hosting a baby shower for a friend/co-worker today at work. I'm on the "planning committee" and she was actually a BM in my wedding, so it's been fun to plan for her. Everyone brought in food dishes for lunch and we took a collection for a gift for her, so it should be fun. She already said the decorations I picked out were super cute.
2. We may have found a sister for our dog! I'm totally jumping the gun, but I finally found (what looks to be) a good fit. I've been checking the rescue website constantly for new dogs (it's a rescue specific to the breed, so they don't usually have too many) and I found a new one last night. She's 1 1/2 and came from a puppy mill.
The problem is she's in MN and we're in MO. I don't know if we'd be able to get her because we're too far for a "home evaluation." So, we'll see...
I'm hoping that my 12 hour day yesterday will have paid off! I should get the results of my experiment this afternoon! Fingers crossed!
I'm super excited for Easter. DH and I have been working on our house/yard pretty much non stop for the past 4 or 5 weekends, so it will be nice to see family and just sit for once!
My mama bought a french bulldog yesterday, it was her gift to herself for reading the bible all the way through. She is naming him Moses!
Although she is getting him from a breeder, I am trying to look past it and just love the pup anyway. She wants me to go visit the breeder though when I come up to visit. It's going to be hard for me, since the last time I have been near a breeder was when I got Harley. I hope I don't bust out into tears and give her an ear full. I am going to try to have that "be happy for mama" attitude though.
Anyway, I am excited that my dogs will have a playmate when they go to Alabama.
My Blog!
Um...I get out at 5 rather than 6 today! And I get to wear jeans (always a bonus).
It is the first day in weeks that I don't feel like I'm going to pass out from exhaustion.

I have to go across town for a meeting this afternoon which will make the day go much faster.
I am wearing new pants to work that I bought over the weekend - two sizes smaller than I was wearing at Christmas! AND I was down 2lbs on the scale this morning :-)

My pants are tighter than crap today....well just when I sit down...I need to come sit by you...
Today is a lucky day because I have meetings almost all day and know that time is going to fly by. Also, my boss is going on vacation this Friday and will be gone for a week and a half- I can't wait!!
