Clicky poll: Help me go crazy with my hair.
Back when I was in college, I had crazy hair. It was cut in an asymmetrical bob that left part of my head shaved, and it was dyed purple. I loved it.
Unfortunately, there are no pictures of this era in my life. The only ones that existed were in the possession of my best friend, and he has no idea where they are anymore. So DH has never seen me in all my purple-coiffed glory, which just kills him.
One of my friends from Austin is in a punk band and they're touring to DC later this month, and DH and I are going to the show. I jokingly commented that it might be a good excuse for me to go purple again and DH called me a tease, so I'm actually going to do it. 
He doesn't know this, though.
I talked with my stylist about this project a few days ago, and we came up with these options. Now I just have to decide which one to choose and I'm having a hard time. Regardless of which way I go, my stylist says she can put my hair back to "normal" easily and with no damage if and when I tire of the purple.
If it helps, my hair's currently cut in a reverse bob with the front about chin-length and the back stacked about 1/4 of the way up my head. Also, I work for myself, so I don't have to worry about getting fired or anything.

i actually had a tri-color for a while - top was blonde, middle was auburn and bottom was purple.

Okay, that's the way I was leaning too (if I'm gonna do it, then go all out with the intense highlights) but, you know, this is me. I obviously have no fear of purple hair.
I started second-guessing myself and wondering if the intense highlights would be too weird. And now that I type that, what crazy talk! Who cares if someone thinks my hair is weird? Their loss.
True purple highlights it is! I'll post pics after the deed is done. I'm thinking this'll go down in a couple of weeks. Wheee!
