I'm not a mother, yet, but....
Here's yet another stupid FB status, this is someone on my friends list complaining about her kid giving her kisses. I was unaware that a mother getting kisses from her baby could be "annoying". I abbreviated the baby's name.
"thinks C's latest
obsession with giving me kisses is actually pretty annoying."
Maybe it's just me, but I wouldn't get annoyed by it. I'd enjoy it while it lasted seeing as when they get older they tend to think it's "yucky".
Re: I'm not a mother, yet, but....
to play the devils' advocate...
...a baby kissing? Bring it! I love it!
...A 2 year old who is constantly bugging you and climbing up on you just to kiss you is dear for the first 50 times, but could be really annoying when you're trying to take care of business or carry on a conversation.
It just depends.
1) He's 8 months old.
2) Yes, I agree with the toddler part.
I could see it. I used to be a nanny for a boy whos kisses were open mouth stick out tongue kisses. EVERYWHERE. Of course I wasn't his mom so I thought it was pretty gross.
HOWEVER, I agree that its something that shouldnt be on facebook.
Sometimes baby/kid kisses are pretty slobbery - but yeah - one day she'll be sad that they don't want to show affection anymore.
