Do you have a first aid kit at home?

I stabbed myself with a staple this morning (story for another day) and needed a band aid...and couldn't find one anywhere. I know I used to be super diligent about keeping a stocked first aid kit at home, but it looks like I have slacked off.

Looks like I'm off to Walmart tonight to stock up!

Re: Do you have a first aid kit at home?

  • Oh lord yes.  I am the most accident prone human being ever.  My first aid kit usually consists of a couple rolls of gauze,  some lint free dressings, tape,  five million different sizes and shapes and brands of band-aids and Polysporin.  Polysporin heals everything.  I love it.  Have a bad zit? put on the poly.  Cut your finger making lunch? put on the poly.  Have a sunburn? Put on the Poly.  I love that crap lol.

  • We have a first aid kit and a first aid cabinet. The latter thanks to Joe's plant closing and him being told to take whatever he wanted.

    Sure do :)

  • Not in a nice neat kit or anything... I have polysporin and bandaids.  We use them relatively frequently - I'm a clutz and DHs hands get beat up playing guitar and working on the house.  Because I also play hockey and DH runs... we have some tensor bandages, icepacks, braces, numbing gel....

  • Absolutely.  DH and I also renew our CPR/firtst aid course every year.  When you have kids, these things are super important,
  • Nothing super fancy though we have about 4-5 packages of bandaids. They give them to use when we donate blood -- we have so many that we started turning them down. All the other stuff that we have stocked we have bought as needed and almost without fail it's expired by the next time we go to use it.
  • Yuppers!! We have one larger one, and then a little mini one we can take with us when we travel.
