Easter plans??

Good Morning! I was just watching the weather, and it looks like we are in for a beautiful weekend (YAY!!) What kind of plans does everyone have for this weekend?

My grandparents [and maybe IL's] are coming into town of Friday to stay all weekend. Mainly we are eating a lot of food. All holidays with my grandmother revolve around food--she cooks and cooks and cooks for us. I'm taking C to an Easter egg hunt on Friday, and I'm not sure what [if anything] we'll do on Saturday.

Going to Indy for the final four!!! my brother and sister and law live there though so we will get to spend easter with them too.

My parents are coming into town on Friday afternoon. We're doing dinner at our house and then probably heading downtown for First Friday.

Saturday we are planning to head to the Duke Garden's and then over to Franklin Street.

Sunday we are having an Easter brunch with my parents before they leave. And then Sunday evening we are having neighbors over for Easter dinner.

we're going to Ohio this weekend to surprise my mom for her birthday. which is funny b/c she thinks she's coming to NC to see us (we'll get there before they're supposed to leave for their fake trip though). 75 degrees and sunny is the forecast!

My parents are coming down for the weekend! Unfortunately, I'm on call at the hospital Friday night (from 5pm to 8:30am Sat morning) and Sunday from 1-5pm. But other than that I hope to do some relaxing with my folks!

We're going to Florida to see DH's grandfather. The IL's are putting us up in a nice beachside hotel so it should be nice!

Wow! Most of you ladies have some great plans! One of DH's good guy friends is coming into town from DC...I think we're all going to the Marlins/Hoppers game on Saturday, then I get to drive back and forth to Salisbury to pick up my cousin that lives down there but doesn't drive. I'll go to church Sunday morning and then make some sort of lupper--though at this point, I really don't have a POA. It makes me uneasy, but oh well. My time is limited right now.

Friday: communion at church, farmer's market, baking orgy.

Saturday: planting flowers, hiding easter eggs, family potluck at my house.

Sunday: Church, grilling out with DH, relaxing.

just a normal weekend for us, we're doing a day trip to winston on saturday, take the car and go on some back roads, have a bit of fun. sunday i'll go to church and DH and i are going to do some yard work.

Friday: Shopping for wedding presents (and maybe for me); BIL's 30th birthday party

Saturday: A friend's wedding

Sunday: BIL's family birthday dinner

A long weekend for me - can't wait!

Friday: Off to the spa w/ a girlfriend - redeeming a Christmas gift card for a facial - and then we'll be outside somewhere sipping on cocktails

Saturday: Tailgating & Canes game - looks like the weather is going to be perfect!

Sunday: Lots of chocolate eating, church, and hanging out with hubby

I di dnot even think about First Friday!!! I'll have to suggest that.
