AW: I have an amazing hubby!
Last night I went to the Melting Pot with my girls for a girl's night dinner celebrating my 30th birthday and two of my girlfriend's birthday's (we are all April 1st...wierd). There were 10 of us ladies last night, SO fun!
As we were getting our chocolate fondue (yumm...chocolate...) there was a card sitting on my desert plate from MH. In the card said that he has planned a trip for us to go to San Francisco and our flight leaves tomorrow morning (Thursday)! He has booked a hotel in the city for a couple nights and then a place to stay in Paso Robles (sp?) for the night and we come back home on Sunday.
I am so shocked that MH would plan such an extravegant event for me and I had no idea he was being such a stinker and kept it from me 
I seriously had no idea and I don't even know how I can get him back with something as special as this.

I also forgot to add that he even called my boss ahead of time to see if it would be ok that I take the time off. Since I work in a CPA firm, this is obviously our busiest time of the year and normally we can't take time off unless it's an emergency. So the boss has been in on it too!

Yep, April Fools also!
I love that too. MH said that when he was really little some of his friends would call and prank him and say they couldn't come to his party, ah the joys of an April Fools birthday. Funny though, I just think of it as his birthday and forget it's April Fools Day, I'm sure it's the same for you.
Wow! I was going to ask about the time off part. That is simply the best, this will be a birthday to remember for a long time to come.

MH talked to my boss and got me time off for the day after we got engaged, and we went and stayed at a little resort on an island nearby. it was awesome
