i hate that...
...after a whole winter of freezing my a$$ off at work, it is finally beautiful and warm out in NY (getting to about 82 today), and get this, the AC has already been turned on! so I AM STILL FREEZING!! what a complete waste of a nice day! And on top of that, I don't get out early for good Friday :-/

I'm jealous of Philly's hangover.
DH and I have not been able to shake our colds for nearly a week now. We've gotten a lot better but not completely back to normal.
That is annoying Megs. It is too early for AC! Open windows and let the fresh air in or something.

Annoying me today...I have gotten 3 phone calls already this morning, by 10am EST, asking if I'm having the baby yet. The first call was at 8:00 and it was my first day to sleep in. I don't sleep well anymore because I am uncomfortable. Ummm people if I were having the baby #1-I would not be answering my phone, #2-you will know when the baby is here! Also I am due at the end of the month...not the beginning!
So for your pregnant ladies, don't tell anyone if you are progressing in any way, they won't leave you alone! Also people love to tell you when they think the baby will get here. Guess what, the baby is coming when they want to come. I've had people tell me he/she will be an Easter baby or come next week sometime. My doctor hasn't mentioned me going early so until she does, I'm not worried about it.
Thanks megs for letting me get that off my chest...didn't realize how annoyed I was by some things.
The smell! Someone in my office overdid it with a smelly perfume and it's driving me nuts.

Good to know! Although all of our family and friends want me to wait until the end of July so I can have it on their birthdays. Yes, because at 40 weeks I will be saying "Eh, let's keep this going for another 3 weeks so she can share a birthday with Batty Grandma"
I'm annoyed that I have to work all day today and I'm still not feeling 100%. I am super-congested and have already gone through a box of Kleenex in the hour I've been at work. But I didn't want to take off another day because I am trying my best to save my time for maternity leave. Oh, and I'm also really annoyed about what constitutes maternity leave at most companies in the U.S., but that's a whole other can of worms.
mb&d, thanks for the advice about not telling people you're progressing. I know I wouldn't want those phone calls either when I'm 36 weeks along.

Me too! And I'm not even pregnant. Did you know they get like a year in Canada? I watch a lot of "Til Debt Do Us Part" and it's all Canadian moms with endless maternity leave making half to 75% of their salary. So jealous.
And today I'm still a little annoyed with my friend's brother. He lives in Portland and hasn't been down in a while so he had never been to my house when he came on Wednesday (we've lived here for two years). He just walked around making all of these comments about how we have so much money and it must be so nice to be a student and never have to work and how my husband is so corporate and can't possibly do any real man's work around the house. Shut up you jerk! Just because we went to college and are not 40 years old, divorced, living in a house our parents bought us doesn't mean we're spoiled brats. I hate you now!

I dont blame you... that would really pisss me off too. I've gotten that from a lot of people about things because I bought my own house so young, always drive a new car, etc. Just because I choose to work my asss off, went to college and got a good degree doesnt make an entitled spoiled brat so mind your own f-ing business. Jeez... obviously this is a hot button issue for me too.
