how do you keep your basements warm?
We have a two story house with a completely finished basement. It gets pretty chilly in the winter. We were looking to get a radiator or something along those lines. Our basement is a "T" shape, not horribly big either. What do you have?
Re: how do you keep your basements warm?
This was a new problem for us this year... we had a big 'ol furnace that kept the basement warm. So much so that when we renovated the basement we closed off the heating vents.
Our furnace died this year and we got a fancy high efficiency furnace. It did not put out nearly as much heat locally (i.e. its high efficient and doing it job well). DH put the old heating vent in the basement back in use. That seemed to help.
