I'm jobless :(
So today was supposed to be the start of my 4 day Easter weekend, instead I'm searching for another job. Yesterday my boss informed me that after 3 yrs I am no longer needed! I wasn't really surprised, I even told DH last week that I should probably start looking for a new job. The company has had so many realignments lately that this was bound to happen.
I was upset yesterday, but am fine today. DH has been great, telling me I could be a SAHW if I wanted. The only downside is that I no longer have a car (I drove a company car) Now I also have to look for a car...ugh!

I just went through this 'surprise' 3 wks ago, and I know how hard it is.
It will be fine, you will find something better, and it will end up being a positive thing.

I do agree with a few of the other girls, when one door closes another opens. When I got laid off a few years ago at the time it was awful, but looking back on it, it was probably the best possible thing that could have happened to me.

I'm so sorry Bridget. But I'm happy to hear that it sounds like you are in a good position mentally and financially to help adjust to this change.
