Boo! We got the one under the waning years of Bush. The one we have to pay back $500 a year until we're settled. One more way to stick it to us on his way out of office!

Lark, I'm with you. Not on the paying, just on the hating GWB :P
Unfortunately, if you look at it from an economic standpoint, all these "stimulus" programs are really f-ing things up. The housing market is naturally cyclical, and without the stimulus, it would bottom out next year sometime -- GREAT for buyers. We'll see what happens/if they extend the credit, though.
Same for us. We have to start paying ours back next year. Sucks.
But, congrats to some padding in your savings!
