Flowers through the mail???

Has anyone ever ordered flowers through the mail?

The ones you plant.   I got a catalog the other day in the mail & the prices are SUPER cheap.  Just wondering if i should trust it or not.

thanks

  • I have friends that are big gardeners and they have done that. I can't say if they loved it or not, but they didn't complain about it.

  • i'd ordered something a few years ago ... my only advice is to do research on the type of flower you're ordering.  i ordered something that looked pretty and creeped.  by the end of each summer my front door, windows, shutters, outside light, get overwhelmed with this vine - i have actually yet to keep it up long enough to see it flower because i wind up ripping most of it down so i can access my front door.

otherwise, i was happy with it. it took right away, was cheap and is pretty ...
