Update to car

So I said yesterday how I need a whole new exhaust system. The passenger side window is also broken beyond repair....no problem right? I'll just use the drivers side window anyway. It's 85 degrees today and I am cruising around with my drivers window down....ut oh....won't go back up! So I get it back up and now it is stuck in the up position. That's ok...I'll use my AC.....oh hello warm air shooting out at me!!! It was an unpleasant, and sweaty, ride back from my hair appt.

New car....you cannot come soon enough....DH and I are sorting through all the suggestions!

Re: Update to car

  • OMG! I think your car is mad at you for wanting a new one!

  • You might like a jeep, it's definitely worth at least a test drive.  Everyone I've known who drove one loved it.  My step dad has a cherokee with over 300,000 miles on it and it's still going strong.  One of my coworkers has an older cherokee too that's never given her any problems.  My mom, SIL, and I all have wranglers which we LOVE.  DH is a little torn right now because he loves my wrangler and kind of wants one but he doesn't want to get rid of his truck.  My FIL even drove SIL's wrangler and loved it which I never expected.

I really don't know how much the other models are but I got my 2005 wrangler for $13,323 with 42,000 miles on it.

I used to always want a Jeep Cherokee! They were like my fave car. Do you live where it snows? I heard they rust pretty easy underneath and we get a lot of snow, which means a lot of salt. I didn't know if the rust comment was a rumor or not

  • It does snow here but until this past winter it never got too bad.  I had never heard that about the rust though.
