DH is moving the IL's up here this weekend...he and his dad will be up here Monday, and DH said his parents have ridicuously heavy pieces of furniture and it was hard for 4 guys to put it into the truck between DH, FIL and 2 cousins and he knows they will need help unloading (since I'm not exactly Mrs.Muscles.) We don't need truck recs, but just moving company recs to hire a couple guys for 5-6 hours. Any recs? (Beaverton/Hillsboro area). Thanks!

Re: Mover recs?
My amateur photo blog
My friend/coworker used Master Movers for her move b/w apartments & recommended them to me. I ended up using them moving to our house, had a great experience. Guys worked hard, ended up paying less than expected and just gave them a good tip for the hardwork.

+1 for Master Movers. We used them 2 years ago, and 2 other friends have used them as well with great success. They're awesome!!
Here is their website: http://www.westcoastmoving.com/mastermovers/?page_id=3
I didn't even know about the website. haha. Glad others had a positive experience. I just checked angie's list and master movers had grade of B based on reviews.
SDGirl- Worst case scenario, a company with great ratings on angie's list is Willamette Valley Moving. Have you checked with your employer if they have company discounts with movers?
Thanks all! I totally appreciate it!!
Esther-I think we need a few guys, so I'll see what DH wants to do, and might email you!

When we relocated from the east coast, DH & I had packed all of our stuff into 2 small PODS and had them shipped here. We had friends/family to help us on 2 week nights to pack them up... but we were at a loss as to what to do when we got here and didn't know anyone. We took a chance and hired MOVE IT OR LOSE IT, INC. They were AMAZING. We hired 2 guys for 3 hours to bring in all of our stuff. They were finished in 30 min. Only 2 guys... It seriously took us 2 evenings to pack and they had everything in our apartment in 30 min!!!!!! Also--it was one of those extremely hot July days last summer.... and they were just running up and down the outside stairs like it was nothing!! They only charged us for the time they were actually working but we did tip them well because they saved us HOURS. The guys were also super friendly and punctual. Would def hire again!!

PS: And we live in SW right at the border of Beaverton so I think they will serve the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. They consider themselves a "mobile" business.
Impressive!
That's exactly our situation-had tons of people to help load the truck...but couldn't bring those people 600 miles north to help unload it!
I'll put them on the list, too. I love that they only charged you for the time they worked!
