7.2 mag earthquake just hit Baja California. We're feeling it here in San Diego! (Felt the main quake and still getting aftershocks).
You can tell I'm a SoCal girl because, when I felt the shaking, I yelled at my husband to stop trying to wake me up from my nap. It took a good 20 seconds before I figured out it wasn't him, and it wasn't our noisy stupid elephants of upstairs neighbors, but it was an earthquake. So, I pulled myself out of bed, stood in the doorway until it stopped, and then crawled back under the covers.
How was your Sunday afternoon?

An earthquake would freak me out!
Lucky, sorry about the family drama!
Our afternoon was nice. DH had to work in the morning (performed at a church), so I slept in. When he finally got home, he took a very long nap (he's sick and worked all Friday and Saturday). I woke him up around 7 to start the steaks and some friends came over and had dinner with us. Low key. Relaxing. Very nice end to the weekend.

Lucky, I'm so sorry to hear about all that craziness
Lucky & Leigha, earthquakes aren't that bad when you've grown up with them. Now, tornados, blizzards, hurricanes...those TOTALLY freak me out. Give me an earthquake any day.
Lucky, sorry about all the family drama. That would drive me nutty.
SBS, glad the earthquake was just some shaking and nothing more. I more than likely would have thought it was my husband waking me up, too.
My Sunday afternoon was kind of hectic. We left about noon for J's grandparents. Then we went to my parents at about 5, and didn't leave till about 9:30. Then J wanted to stop at his friends, so we went there till about 12:30. I was so tired by the time we got home. . .

I saw that on the news! We've had teeny tiny earthquakes here but I can't imagine a 7.2 one!
Sunday was good...we went to church with my mom...then I had a photo shoot with a little Welsh Corgi that is dying of lymphatic cancer
- it was so hard, but very rewarding. Then we went out to the lake house to eat dinner with H's family. It was an absolutely beautiful day here yesterday, though, and it's supposed to get all the way up to 88-90 today! I love it!
SBS & Lark-Wow about the earthquake. I think I would of freaked but we really don't get those here. I'm glad you ladies are all right and were not affected
lucky-sorry about all the family drama, geez! FWIW, I feel the same way about anything that holds the baby needs to be new.
My Sunday was nice and relaxing. Spent it at my mom's and then visited with DH's family later that evening.
Yikes that earthquake would have freaked me out... I saw it on the news this morning. Glad it wasnt anything serious for you guys.
We had DH's family over for Easter yesterday... nothing too exciting but the weather was great so we were able to have lunch outside, grill out, etc.

We played with the puppy all weekend, i visited my dad in the hospital, and got a grill that I am psyched to try out in this beautiful weather! Also had some friends over to watch the Yankees opening game last night, and once again proved that I still am too easily distracted to get into baseball...
