So I know we just all had weddings...

...but I need ideas!

My sister's 18th bday is in a couple of weeks.  We need to do some sort of a party thing, but she's so incredibly picky!  She doesn't want a lot of people there, said she didn't necessarily want a party, but would throw a fit if we don't have one.  Make sense?

At any rate, I'm totally stumped, as are my mom and MIL.  We can't have it at either parents' house, the club house at my apartment is out, and we're not sure the weather is predictable enough.

I probably should post this on my local nest board, too, but it's so dead there were only three posts the entire month of March.  Besides, I like you gals best, anyway! =]

Re: So I know we just all had weddings...

  • Maybe do it at the banquet room of her favorite restaurant?  Then it can be low key but still exciting?

  • how about a spa party get a facial, massage or mani/pedis with a local spa? we have the melting pot here and i love going out for fondue dessert and cheese, do they have anything like that there? always fun to play a little dressup and enjoy tasty treats.  good luck!

  • We've thought about it...  We're still kinda stumped and I'm sure it'll end up thrown together at this point.

She hates dressing up; she doesn't even wear make-up since she started dating long-term bf.  (As a funny to me -- the photographer actually has pictures of her doing makeup and curling her hair for the wedding, though!)

     Thanks for the suggestions!
