Hello! I've been MIA. :)
Just got back from our trip to Cali, which was great. We absolutely cannot wait for our big move! It was sooooo hard to come back to reality last night and then to work this morning. Poo.
Also, for those who had been following, I went to the doctor today and got a negative pregnancy test, even though I'm 2 days late. Ugh. I was getting excited, so it was a smack in the face. On to the next cycle!
How have you all been? What'd I miss?
After 22 cycles and 4 failed IUIs, Serafina joined our family through IVF/ICSI, born 8.28.12

Things have been veeerrrryyyy quiet here. It's almost like a ghost town.
Glad your trip went well. This last little bit of time will likely drive you crazy as you're waiting. Hopefully you'll have lots of things to keep you busy leading up to your move.

It has been really quiet around here. Either everyone is still off or too tired from the holiday to post.
So glad you had fun in Cali! Sorry the weather kinda sucked. It was much colder this weekend then it has been lately. It's supposed to be back up in the high 70s low 80s later this week though.
Did you get to experience the fabulous earthquake we had yesterday? My H and I were in the grocery store and saw things falling off the shelves. It definitely got our attention even though it was a slow, rolling quake. We are used to the sharp, jolting quakes.
Regarding the pregancy- don't give up on this cycle yet! I took a test 2 days after AF was supposed to be here and it was negative. I waited a week and then took two more- both of which were positive! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers that you receive your BFP soon!

I just got home and got a little teary reading all of your posts. You are all so sweet! Thanks for all the wishes that I miraculously get my bfp this cycle despite today's setback.
And I just keep telling myself that this time is for us to enjoy as a married couple before family life sets in, so I need to focus on that instead. I am gonna be 34 though, so yikes.
As for Cali... we are probably going to settle in the city proper, specifically Noe Valley or North Beach. We've explored the city a few times now and feel that those 2 nabes are our style and will be easy to transition into from Brooklyn. SF is only 1/10th the size of NYC!!!! I knew it was smaller, but didn't think it was gonna be quite that small. I am ready to kick ass and take names! (Just kidding, though the real estate friend I spoke to about work is definitely afraid of me, LOL!)
@Nicole, we took off at 2pm, so I think we just missed the quake. I'll have no more of that, thank you!
All these earthquakes lately are making me nervous!
