LOL, I know that totally sounded strange. Not meant to really, I just need some new undies. I hate hate hate VS underware so I was hoping to get some recs from you lovely ladies.
What are your favorite panties, if you are willing to share?
Re: I need some panties...
Well, my favorites are no help to you. I love VS boyshorts of any kind. Plus, they have this new lacie thong that's one size fits all that is supper comfy.
The only non VS undies I have are American Eagle ones my sister bought me. They are nice and comfy, but nothing to talk about really.
I love HUE panties. I found them at Belk or JC Penney, I can't remember.

Hanes. From Target. Low-cut bikinis in colors and patterns more befitting of a 6-year old.
J is lucky man, let me tell you.
I get me some cheapies (boyshorts, whatever's cute) at Target... (and some hanes for workout undies-can't go commando when I work out like some people). I like to switch it up so I like that I know I'll be tossing them fairly fast. Plus, w the up and down w weight... hope some cute ones are in my future soon!
GL!
Much to J's chagrin, I do not believe in big girl panties. Every so often he asks me, "Are you SURE you don't like thongs? Have you tried them recently?" Sorry, baby, it's not happening.
Oops! Yeah, I agree though, the quality is what really bugs me. I just got a new pair of the cotton bikinis maybe 3 months ago and it's already falling apart. Plus, I feel the sizing is really hit or miss lately. And, shopping there kind of makes me
because, at least at the ones by me, it's all these 9-11 year olds going nuts over the thongs and lingerie. Ugh. I'm such a grown-up.
My new faves are VS. I bought some soft meshy thongs and some tangas there that I'm enjoying. I agree about the quality, though. One of them already came apart before I wore it (lace unstitched, but that's an easy fix).
This is weird, but I liked the thongs I got from Motherhood maternity. Cheap and cottony-comfy.
And I'm a thong girl. The way I look at it, everything creeps up on me, so I can have one inch of fabric or 4-6 inches of fabric bunching up where it shouldn't be.
I am proud to say that I haven't worn a thong since I got a BFP. I threw them all away mid pregnancy because, well, I needed more room in the drawer for the 6 packs of panties I buy at wallyworld. I have a VS gift card from DH sitting here that I should buy with and two lacy thongs from Express that I ordered. Yet I am still pulling on my nasty tattered pregnancy drawers. I'm sure DH is excited when I take off my clothes to reveal that and a sports bra.
Okay, I'm a little late to this, but first let me say I am LOLing at everyone's responses!
Second, I'm relieved to know that I am not the only one who rocks the cotton panties. (And yes J would greatly prefer something sexier, like a thong but he'll get over it.)
Third, I love my Jockey panties. I went back to them in the last couple years b/c like others I was tired of shelling out for VS panties that weren't holding up. I have some all cotton briefs/hipsters and I have some seamless full coverage and I love them all.
HTH.
I'm late to this also...but here's my two cents, fwiw:
B just informed me he likes thongs (b/c I asked b/c of this post, lol)...they're okay, my only issue has been that my period is so irregular, that when I would wear them, I would usually end up spotting or starting by lunchtime. That got old pretty quick, and I haven't worn them much since. I always found them to be pretty comfy.
I heart Hanes and FOTL - I like the hipsters/boyshorts. I have solid colors and fun colors/patterns, b/c they're fun and who cares whether my panties have stripes or dots or words? Mind you though, I'm cheap, and can't see spending lots of money on panties - bras yes, panties, not so much.
when dh and I were dating it was sexy thongs all the time.
Now that we are hitched. Hanes boy shorts from target! loooooove them! so comfy and they dont have tags in them either! love it!
