Hi ladies...sorry I have been MIA. Updates and some AW.
Just been so busy with the house! OMG, it needs so much work(but we knew that getting into it).We started peeliong wallpaper, ripping up rugs, cleaned the kitchen, etc. and it is defiantly starting to look a lot better.
We met our next door neighbors and they are super nice.We also founf out more about our sidewalk that has to be replaced. It's kinda funny, the entire street got sited and now EVERYONE needs to replace. It actually works out better for us because now all the neighbors are going in together and we actually got a better rate. I hope the whole street doesnt hate us! It would have happened no matter who bought it though.
I also went SHOPPING! My Mom and Grandmother bought our furniture for a housewarming gift! We got living room furniture from Ethan Allen, and a sectional and ottoman for the den from Pottery barn. All of the furniture will be arriving sometime in June, and by then we hope to have all of the floors done. Today DH and I bougth an entire house full of appliances, and they all come next week.
Here is the pic I took to Ethan Allen. It was like being a kid in a candy store. They can match anything! We are doing this, minus 1 club chair and I selected a charcol grey sofa instead of the beige in the pic. We matched the other club chair with nailheads and the two leather stools.

I'm glad the sidewalk thing is not going to be as bad as originally thought and that it is more than a group effort instead of just your house.
Wow! You could always sell one of those fancy couches and pay for the sidewalk!
