I'm hoping the lack of replies doesn't mean you all took that seriously! Totally tongue-in-cheek, especially because I forgot to put sprinkles in the mix AND my vegetable oil was not the freshest. :-0
At least it's not like my lemon bars!

I thought it was remarkable!
Made me want to bust into the cupcakes I brought for my snack today.
ETA: See how awesome Buzz is? I actually saw your blog post!

At least your baking experiment stayed in the pan, Mames!
True story - I made banana bread last week and it turned out horrible. I filled the loaf pan too full and half of it ended up on the bottom of my oven. The first thing I thought of when I was cleaning - "Why didn't I just check Hawki's blog for a recipe that works?"
Yeah, at least this one is edible! Kind of. It tasted like a mix of yummy frosting and "off" oil.

Oh noes! Was it salvageable?

Hawki--your frosting recommendations worked perfectly for DH's birthday cake this weekend. I might have added too much sugar, because it was a little bit sweet, but it spread super easily.
To make it relative to Mamie's post: DH said he wished I had made a funfetti cake.
Good to hear... and if it makes you feel better, I can't tell you how many times DH has asked for oreos when I ask what he wants for dessert.

Thanks sara! I
funfetti. I wanted my wedding cake to be funfetti too, but I went classic. :-/
