The perfect way to spend your anniversary
At the hospital getting X-Rays of my eye socket. Thankfully there's no fracture but it still hurts like a b!tch!
My coworkers are having a blast joking that DH has started beating me and DH keeps joking that he wants to even it out by punching me in the other eye. Who knew my dog was so dangerous!

Lexi went to jump on the bed Saturday morning at the same time I was bending down and she collided right into my left eye. In case you didn't know, the top of a dogs head is VERY hard. She was completely unfazed until I fell to the floor in tears and then I think she was a little bit concerned but she got over it pretty quickly
Saturday is was swollen shut and then the bruising set it...it's gotten uglier and uglier over the past 2 days so my coworkers and MIL convinced me to go get x-rays to make sure she didn't fracture my eye socket.
Apparently you don't often see a professional looking woman with a black eye...I'm getting some interesting looks.
I'm so sorry to hear that. I know it must be so annoying to hear all the jokes and get the strange looks. I hope it heals fast. In the meantime, do you want one of these?
