Had my first Dr's appt. last night...
and he said everything looks good...so far...phew! He did an internal ultrasound and I got to see baby "Dot" (I call him/her that 'cause that's what he/she looked like on the screen to me lol). He said from the u/s it looks like I'm about 4-5 weeks and my EDD is about Dec.10thish (which is basically what I firgured out). I went for blood work a little while ago today to check my Beta # (that checks to see how much pregnancy hormone you have) along with my progesterone level...I should get those results back tomorrow night when my Dr. is back in his office, so I will keep you all posted. I go back in 2 weeks for another u/s and he said we should be able to see the babies hearbeat at that time.

ooh...I'm sorry Meg...you did mention that in a previous post and I totally forgot. =/
Telling them went well! I gave my 'rents their Easter card and my dad opened it and read it to himself with my mom watching on, so I said to my dad "read who it's from" and he said he did, so I said "read it again...out loud" lol and then he started reading it and went through all the names and then at the end it said "Baby De" which of course my dad didn't catch onto, but my mom did and started yelling. lol They're very excited! We did the same thing to DH's mom (his dad was home sick) and she did the same thing as my dad, so I made her read all the names and my SIL was looking over her shoulder and her face lit up before my MIL finished reading it, so she new first and then finally my MIL read it and was so excited. lol It was fun telling them...just to see the expressions on their faces! hehe Thanks for asking girlie...
