oh noooo!

So my SIL and I have been planning my parents a surprise 60th this Sunday at her house. My parents never do anything on Sundays so we figured it is fine. I asked her to ask them to her house for a "brunch" and I don't think she has yet. Just talked to mom and she is working at 9! Hopefully she will be done by 11 when the party starts, but I am freaking out and think I may need to just blow the surprise and tell them. Oy!

Re: oh noooo!

  • Oh no! Is there any way you could get a hold of someone at her work that could be in on the surprise, and set up something to make sure that she gets out of there?

I agree with Labbie - can you get someone at work to help?  Even if you have to blow the surprise ahead of time I'm sure your parents are going to be very grateful.

  • SIL called her today and invited her over.  All seems to be well.  She thinks she'll be out of work by then, so we are in the clear.  That is one big relief!  After this, I am not planning a surprise anything for anyone for quite some time!
