Seven out of eight of the last photo albums uploaded by my FB friends are of babies. Babies babies babies. I have classmates pregnant with their third child. It's like a freaking epidemic.
Are your friends childless? Spawning like crazy? Or somewhere in between?

Re: Babies everywhere
FB friends -- an epidemic.
IRL friends I see on a pseudo regular basis -- only two (one due in May, one due in October)
IRL friends I spend most of my time with -- nada and not planning.
My regular main friends: I have a three couples of friends that have almost two year olds. Another two couples of friends who are currently trying. One couple of friends that are waiting another couple of years.
Other friends: Some planning to conceive in the near future, and one is expecting due in September.

YES!!! My god its everywhere!! Seems like everyone I went to high school with is currently pregnant, or just had a kid. My bro & his girlfriend are having a little boy in June. Every other facebook entry is some form of congratulations...
We're totally not ready for kids yet (maybe in a few years), but this crazy epidemic is almost starting to make me feel a little behind...
Spawning. Like. Mad.
And it is making my brain, hormones, and common sense completely turn on me. EFFFF.
Are we really old enough to be parents? Really? For cereal? Oh God...
I survived the RoLex wedding and all I got was this lousy husband.

NO one is having children. I can count on one hand the number of people I even know who have a child, and 80% of them (yes, that's 4 out of 5) live a minimum of 2000 miles away and I have not seen since high school (and one of them actually lives in France).
Of my best friends here who I see on a regular basis, most of them are over 35 and not even in a relationship. We are just not the marrying kind. This is also why I would like to make some new, married couple friends.

This. I don't really want one at this point in time, but sometimes it makes me feel like I *should* be spawning. That said, I felt more of an unspoken internal race for marriage more.

Friends: Its probably a 50/50 split. BFF is trying but dealing with IVF.
Family on the other hand is another story. Since we got married 4 of our 5 combined siblings have either had a kid or are pregnant right now.

~All AL'ers welcome~
HS friends... all but one of my HS friends has at least 1 child, several have 2 or are pregnant with the second. The one who doesnt have kids yet, her H has been out of the country since 4 days after their wedding 18 months ago and just got back last week. They are planning to start TTC in about 6 months.
Close college friends... Several are married, several are engaged. Only one is TTC that I know of but no one has kids yet. There are a lot of other acquaintences that I am FB friends with that have kids so I see a lot of pics.
Family... I have tons of second cousins and it seems like they are all KU or just had a baby.
Friends here in town... only 1 is prego, a couple have kids, a couple more are TTC, and pretty much everyone else is planning a wedding. Seems like weddings and babies are all that's going on with everyone I know.

It's kind of a mix for me, I guess. FB doesn't seem to be exploding, but real life is: my brother just had his 3rd, our best friends had one in September, and my other best friend is due in July. Another close friend we didn't think would ever is talking about it (I think she's just trying to finish up her grad studies) and DH and I definitely have the itch (I just need a stable job). Only people not on the verge are our way too young and not quite married good friends.
BTW: My brother with 3 kids, he's only 3 years older than me!

My BFF has a 7yo & 5yo. We are both 28! My sister has 2 now and she's only 25. DH & I are still having "Are we sure we know what we're getting into?" moments and we're 32 & 28. Crazy!

This. I guess I am knocking on 30's door...but still...everyone is either pregnant or already has 8 kids.
