my birthday lunch got canceled
Today is my birthday, and I was supposed to go to lunch with two of my co-workers and they canceled on me. It is 45 minutes until my lunch, so I don't have time to make other plans.
Just a little vent. I know when we are at this age birthdays shouldn't be a big deal, and it's not like I haven't been to lunch on my birthday by myself before. I was just looking forward to it.
At least I get to have dinner with my parents tonight, right?
I'll just concentrate on that.

That does suck! It's always worse on your birthday, the let-downs seem worse somehow - like a birthday is supposed to be this perfect day.
Dinner will be fun! Go get yourself a treat for lunch. I know, I know, eating doesn't solve anything. But I say enjoy some chocolate or something for sure!

I thought," I bet Ashandgege knows the correct combination at her church!" Boo (for not being at the church run by a nestie...).

We share a birthday... and fwiw, I ate schloztsky's by myself at work today... It does suck! But dinner with DH made up for it - hopefully dinner with your parents went fantastic.
