Hi there...
I'm new to this board, but wanted to say hello. I don't consider myself one with a green thumb, but I do believe in organic gardening so I'm going to attempt it (again!) here in the next few weeks.
I'm going to be planting lettuce and tomato plants in two earthboxes. This will be my first time using the earthbox, but I think it is a better place to start for me as they appear to be fool proof.
Do any of you have experience growing fruits/vegis in the earthbox?

Hi!
I grew my vegetables in something similar to the Earthbox and had success. I've been growing vegetables in containers for several years. The past two years haven't been too fruitful and I blame it on the weather and the lack of bees. I'm hoping this year will be different. I'm growing mine in bags this year so hopefully I'll have success. I've never grown lettuce before until this year so hopefully they'll grow into heads soon. I'm starting from seed.
Nothing beats a homegrown tomato. They taste nothing like the ones you buy from the grocery store.
